Welcome to ANTH 498C/SOCI 498D, Cyberspace Ethnography: Political Activism and the Internet.

To get a handle on this course, as you start, you should first read the downloadable syllabus, from start to finish. Read it very carefully — you are responsible for knowing everything in that syllabus.

Then you should come back to this site, examine it slowly and carefully, and then proceed to set up your Twitter account.

I am a professor of anthropology at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. My areas of research and teaching interest are centered in Political Anthropology, with a focus on imperialism, neoliberalism and globalization, nationalism, democracy, and the international political economy of knowledge production.
